Nexus Prime finally succeeded in his mission of reuniting the Origin Matrix and the pieces of the Star Saber. He also recovered the equally powerful Terminus Blade, relic of the ancients, from an insane Ultra Magnus. His efforts came too late, however—the fabric of the multiverse was almost irrevocably damaged by Magnus's actions with the Terminus Blade, and other inter-dimensional incursions. Restoration Said actions of Magnus had unleashed an unprecedented wave of universal destruction and chaos. Invasion: Epilogue To make matters worse, with the Alternity having rendered the Hytherion inactive, the multiverse no longer had a natural deterrent to the spread of weakened and damaged universes. In order to undo some of the damage and stabilize multiversal spacetime, Nexus Prime traveled to a key point in interdimensional space and brought the Star Saber and Terminus Blade together. These relics were powerful enough to reweave the fabric of reality to some degree, while permanently strengthening the boundaries between dimensions from that point onwards. Nexus Prime realized that these stronger boundaries would have a unique effect on multiversal singularities like himself, and he would be forever altered by his actions. Nexus Prime's brothers and sister among the Thirteen arrived in his presence, marking the passing of their unique identities as he finalized his repairs on the multiverse. Out of the One, Many In particular, Vector Prime took a leave of absence from Axiom Nexus to attend the Shrouding. Ask Vector Prime

The aftermath of the Shrouding was felt most strongly in Nexus 208.0 Epsilon, by the Transcendent Technomorphs of Axiom Nexus who observed and interacted with other realities on a daily basis. Such activity had formed a significant basis of their culture for the past few millions of years. The TransTech authorities lost track with their probes and agents in most universal streams. The Shrouding was also notable for its effects upon several of the multiverse's gods. Due to the splintering of singularities, the small fragment of good within Unicrontook dominance in his aspect in Primax -408.24 Epsilon; by contrast, however, the Primus of that universe became dominated by evil. Out of the One, Many Meanwhile, the Shroud fragmented the pre-multiverse entity Physis. One of Physis's now separate fragments landed on Parthus in Nexus 208.0 Epsilon, fatally wounded, where Physis successfully petitioned dimensional refugee Spacewarp to euthanize their local aspect. As thanks while dying, Physis used the last of their power to allow Spacewarp and her Mini-Con partners to return to their home reality. Spacewarp's Log (2), 2016/01/31
