- Panther's Japanese name and brief character write-up come from a Japanese Beast Wars guidebook called the Beast Wars Perfect Book.
- The Beast Wars Metals manga used Panther to represent the father of Beast Wars Ravage. Whether this means that Panther was the previously unseen father of Generation One Ravage or if Panther was Generation One Ravage and Beast Wars Ravage was his subsequent offspring in that continuity is uncertain. It's also possible that they were more than one generation removed, and/or that neither was the original Ravage and both were descendants and/or Panther was Ravage's father while Beast Wars Ravage was his son, but that's just getting into the realm of speculation... But it can't be ruled out, either. Ugh, Japanese continuity can give ya a serious headache!
